On July 29, 2021, DPECH working group has successfully organized the first Seminar with the theme Digital Preservation and Education of Cultural Heritage: Asian-European Perspectives (# DPECHAEP2021).
The seminar included 12 presentations from experts and practitioners on digital cultural heritage from: EGInA, CRHACK Lab (Italy), University of Extremadura (Spain), Sofia St Kliment Ohridski University (Bulgaria), University of Dublin (Ireland), #Kachinlifestories Project (Singapore), Digital Archives Project on Cultural Heritage of ASEAN Secretariat,… Vietnam National University, Hanoi (University of Technology and Vietnam Japan University), RMIT Vietnam, Vietnam Institute for Religious Studies, Citadel Research Institute, and Thang Long University. The seminar was attended and enthusiastically discussed by nearly 120 participants from countries around the world.
DPECH-AEP 2021 seminar was held with the chairmanship of the Museum of Cultures of Ethnic Groups and the cooperation of: Human Machine Interaction Laboratory, Faculty of Information Technology, University of Technology, Vietnam National University Hanoi, VNU Vietnam Japan University, European Grants International Academy (EGInA), CRHACK LAB FOLIGNO 4D.
The organizers have received many ideas to contribute to continue building the DPECH network and determine the future direction. We hope that DPECH will open up many opportunities for cooperation between individuals and organizations in Vietnam, ASEAN, Europe, and the world in the field of digital cultural heritage.
